@ Para gliding from Billing - one among the three best places for Paragliding in the world

@ The height:  3500 ft

@ Hence the gliding time of 30 minutes or more is available

@ Every year in November International Paragliding competition takes place over here.


Facilities:
# The camp site has hot water shower and toilet facilities.

# Full coarse vegetarian/Jain food will be provided.

 

Date: 13th May – 21st May, 2011

 

Fees: Rs.9,500/- for member                                     Rs.9,800/- for non member

(Paragliding charge: Extra Rs.2500/- or as actual)

 

The camp Site Location: Tea Garden at Bir village, it is 80 kilometers from Dharamshala and Surrounded by Tea gardens and stepped fields.  

Transportation: Surat to Pathankot by Train (ACThreeTire). Pathankot to Bir by bus.

 

Things to carry: Wind cheater, Woolen cap, wide brimmed hat or cap as a sun-shade, Hand-gloves, Sun-glasses, Shoes, Socks, Floaters, Thermal, Raincoat, Sweater, Toilet accessories,[plate, mug, spoon, Towel, Torch, Sleeping bag, (for night out)], Carry bag, Swim wear for hot water spring, Jeans, Water bottle and special Personal Medicines if Required.

 

Note: (1) Binoculars and Camera are allowed at your own risk. (2) Walkman, i-pod and radio not allowed. (3) Shoes should be large enough so that you can wriggle your toes with socks on. Tight footwear gives blisters. (4) Do not bring any valuable to the camp. (5) Chewing of Gutkha, Pan-masala and Alcoholic drinks are strictly prohibited. (6) Stringent action will be taken against the offender. (7) In event of misbehavior, participant will be dismissed from the camp. (8)  Lady volunteer will be there to accompany female participants.
