Bird Calls Nature Club Surat has an active project to record bird calls of Indian species. Currently, we have published 3 volumes of recordings. Each volume is reasonably priced and includes an attractive booklet, which illustrates the bird, to allow easy identification. The commentary is in English and Gujarati. Currently, the development of volume 4 is in progress. We are also planning for volume 5. The calls are recorded by Mukesh Bhatt, which has spent many months in wilderness recording these calls. Mukesh Bhatt is an birdwatcher and an excellent wildlife photographer. We are thankful to all our donors for supporting this endeavor. Special thanks go to Nanda Patel and our other overseas members Dharmesh/Arif for donating high quality portable recording equipment.
